The Jamie Kotula Foundation was created to honor the life and memory of Jamie Kotula. His daily life demonstrated kindness, compassion, loyalty, intelligence, spirituality, and generosity. The Foundation’s mission is to support individuals and organizations who exemplify these characteristics and we do so through scholarships to deserving students and random acts of kindness to those in need.
In death as in life, Jamie’s spirit brings people together. Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, Bishop of Scranton, noted in an ecumenical mass that Jamie was able to effortlessly bring members of two distinct religions together. The foundation strives to improve lives through random acts of kindness.
